Moving back home

Hello Louisville! After years of absence, I'm finally back home! As much as I love and appreciate Denver and my friends there, the time for a change was long overdue. After my mother passed away in April and her estate was finalized, I made the move.

After all this time, Louisville has changed and grown a great deal! It's an exciting, vibrant city and still growing. Business has at least doubled, perhaps tripled since I left! Streets have been replaced or renamed, and while I miss some of the old neighborhoods, new areas have sprouted everywhere! Learning new directions has been challenging as well and the Rocky Mountains are not available to point to the west! Standiford Field has become the Louisville International Airport and the Fourth Street Mall has become Fourth Street Live! It's a local mecca for arts and entertainment. There's a new football stadium and downtown sports arena! Fortunately, the city has also maintained its old fashioned charm. Downtown holds an eclectic mix of new and old archecture, reminding visitors of its 300-year history, from first settlers to present day!

Yes, it's been a good move for me! I'm excited to be back home!
